Ford 8" Trac Loc 4 pin posi unit .
These new 4 pin limited slip Trac Locs are for 8" Ford applications.
This unit is for 28 spline axles. (check my other auctions for 31 spline)These are
new
units, not rebuilt or remanufactured. Each unit has had the backlash set to the correct specification unlike others.
Our Trac Loc 8" Ford case is stronger than the OEM unit and has a steel case with extra support material in the critical areas. The hat or end plate is forged steel. This Trac Loc fits all 8" Ford rearends and is for heavy duty applications.
We have seen failures with imported clutch frictions and springs. These are Made in the USA.
Longer r
ing gear bolts are included.
Also included are LM102949 bearings and LM102910 races. They have a 1.781" i.d. and a 2.891" o.d.
And a bottle of the required the friction modifiers to add to the gear oil.
