    Description

This is PROFESSIONAL GRADE ...#500 cSt Viscosity (thickness of light motor oil) which is
    much thicker than the 'spray'
applicators bottles that are significantly thinner (similar to water) in order to get through their nozzles. The thinner the viscosity, the faster the evaporation.
RULE OF THUMB: Double the cSt...Double the time between applications.
This works out to .23 per ounce (including shipping)!!   Compare that to the small 1/2 ounce 'tubes' that cost over per ounce.
    -This is 4 ounces of
    PREMIUM
    100% Silicone Treadmill Lube
(see specs below). It is non-petroleum based which is recommended by all manufactures and repair companies that require silicone lubricant for their treadmills.
We specialize in treadmill lubricant and it's all we sell in the Treadmill category

Minimal 'RULE OF THUMB': (4) One Ounce Applications Per Year = 4 Ounces Per Year.
    CAUTION:
if a vendor does not list the fluid ounces,
    always ask them!
Don't be fooled by claims of the 'number of applications'.....it's the
    amount of fluid ounces
that is important. That's what you are comparing.

    Why 100% Pure Silicone?
Regardless who you buy your silicone from, be
    ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN
that it is 100% silicone (see our spec sheet in the pictures). Other silicones are petroleum based and can actually damage your treadmill. I can't stress that enough.
Why Our Prices Are So Low?
We buy in bulk and keep our margins as low as possible.
How Long Should I Expect My Treadmill To Last?
Useful life of a treadmill is a function of usage, environment and maintenance. It has been our experience that by lubricating between the walking belt and the deck will
    significantly
improve the useful life (see below). You should expect to lubricate that area with a minimum of 4 ounces per year.
How To Determine If My Treadmill Needs Lubrication?
    VERY IMPORTANT !!
Everyone's treadmill and environment is different. Humidity, condition of the belt and usage are the 3 main variables to consider. Anyone telling you that a 1/2 ounce or 1 ounce application will last you a year is total nonsense!! There is
    only one way
to know if your treadmill is properly lubricated and you need to check this monthly. Do the following:
Take your fingertips and slide them between the running belt  the deck- to the center. If your fingertips come back shinny, you're ok. If not, it needs a lubrication. If you aren't sure, lubricate it !! It's far better to have it over 'lubed' than 'dry'. If you feel cracks or roughness on the deck area, it is a clear indicator that the deck is overheating from too much friction and definitely needs more lubrication!
How Often Should I Expect To Lubricate?
I instruct my customers to lubricate every 3 months unless the above indicates not to (which means it's probably being used as a coat rack).
How Much Lubricant Should I Apply?
Here's where the customer needs to understand the reality. It takes a
    full ounce
to adequately lubricate a deck! A typical treadmill with normal use needs
    at least
    one ounce every 3
    months. That's a MINIMUM of
    4 ounces per year
    .
    Why Buy From Us?
The customer really has nowhere to go except to buy online. And there is a huge markup because of that.
We buy all raw materials in bulk quantities and sell to our customers at a discount.
Why Lubricating a Treadmill Is So Important!
My company has been assembling and repairing treadmills over the past 9 years for a national retail company. One of the most consistent problems that my customers run into is
they don't lube the treadmill deck nearly enough.
If there is no lubrication between the walking belt and the deck, there is serious friction that develops between them. This results in the following:
-the laminated deck starts to de-laminate due to the added resistance heat
-as the de-lamination builds up, it starts eating away at the walking belt
-plus, the rollers and motor have to work much harder to maintain the speed because of the added resistance
-the electronics try to maintain all of the coordinated signals and get confused and starts sending false signals to the control board.
-basically, what happens is a domino effect whereby either the belt wears out or the control board dies.
