    ABOUT THE STAMP:
The postage stamp illustration shows two people exchanging postcards. To demonstrate the randomness of the practice, postcards were placed as if they were falling from both sides. The art depicts Lisbon, the capital of the country where Postcrossing was created, and Paris, which Eiffel Tower monument is a recognizable tourist spot anywhere in the world. One of the postcards that appears on the stamp depicts Rio de Janeiro with Christ the Redeemer. Thus, Brazil is also represented. The dotted line that passes through the entire stamp refers to travel around the world and also to the globe. The techniques used were ink, watercolor, marker and colored pencils.
